03History

1916–1920s — Morris' Bar, Lima. American expat Victor Vaughn Morris built a whisky-sour chassis on pisco; bartender Mario Bruiget added egg white and Angostura.

Peru marks National Pisco Sour Day (first Saturday of February); Chile celebrates Pisco Day in May. The argument is permanent.

Origin contested — the entry keeps verified record and received legend distinct.
