03History
Campari calls it the drink of Italian unification — red Campari south of the Alps meeting citrus. In 2015 Dante in New York re-lit it by spinning the orange juice fluffy in a blender: same two ingredients, entirely new texture.
The 'fluffy orange' technique is now the point — aerated juice that suspends the bitterness.
Origin contested — the entry keeps verified record and received legend distinct.
