Fūryū-na Inryō: Kokuteru no Tsukurikata — How to Make Refined Beverages, Cocktails

A popular writer's take on the cocktail for the general reader. Satō Kōka — the pen name of Satō Tamio — edited drink and food titles for the mass market; this volume shows how far the cocktail had travelled into Japanese print by 1930.

Background

Issued by Shibunkō Kankōkai with revision by Ogino Naohisa, it sits between the professionals' manuals and the home-drink books that followed. Satō would go on to edit a world cocktail encyclopedia in 1931.
